What are the Visiting Hours and Visitation Rules at the Bedford City Jail?
While the Bedford City Jail is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, the visiting hours at the Jail are limited:
- Visitation hours are daily from 10am – 12pm and 6pm – 8pm;
- Visitation is limited to 15 minutes and no more than 4 people;
- Visitors must be at least 17 years old and bring a valid driver’s license or identification;
- Visitors must be dressed appropriately and not have any outstanding arrest warrants.
- Visitors may bring prescription medication for prisoners, but may not bring any other items to be placed into property.
Can an Inmate Make a Telephone Call?
According to the Bedford City Jail, prisoners are allowed to place limited free telephone calls once the booking process has been completed. They get another phone call after they have seen the magistrate judge.
